Robert M. Galumbeck

Robert M. Galumbeck is a senior partner at Galumbeck and Gillespie, Attorneys. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1973 and obtained his J.D. from Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1976. He has served as Commonwealth’s Attorney and County Attorney for Tazewell County, Virginia. He specializes in family law and criminal law. Mr. Galumbeck has been recognized as one of Virginia’s 'Legal Elite' by Virginia Business magazine and 'Super Lawyers' by Virginia Super Lawyers magazine for over 10 years, including 2020. He graduated from the Appalachian School of Law (ASL) in 2013, where he served on the Appalachian Journal of Law. He previously worked at Steptoe & Johnson, PLLC, and The Plaster Law Firm. He joined Galumbeck & Gillespie, Attorneys at Law, on June 1, 2015, handling criminal law, general civil litigation, commercial law, consumer protection issues, property law, and consumer Bankruptcy petitions.
