Mark T. Berry
Mark T. Berry is a shareholder/director of Sammons & Berry, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Texas A & M University and his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1993. He developed a nationwide practice in the transportation and railroad industry, handling catastrophic injury claims. He was recognized for achieving one of the Top Texas Verdicts by Verdict Search for a FELA case. He was recently voted one of the TOP 10 Asbestos and Mesothelioma Trial Lawyers in the country and is a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum. J. Kirkland Sammons
Kirk Sammons is the founding shareholder of Sammons & Berry, P.C. A decorated veteran, he served with a combat engineer battalion in the 3rd Armored Division during the Gulf War and received initial legal training in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. He obtained his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Houston and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. He has tried numerous cases to verdict against large corporations and is an experienced appellate attorney. He has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer,” a Top 10 Asbestos Mesothelioma Trial Lawyer, a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and consistently rated as an “AV” attorney by Martindale Hubbell. He also served as Chair of the Railroad Law Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and founding chair of the FELA Litigation Group.
