Christopher D. Jones

Attorney Christopher “Chris” D. Jones is a principal shareholder of Griffin, Dawsey, DePaola & Jones, P.C., a general practice law firm that has been proudly serving Bradford, Susquehanna, Sullivan, Wyoming, and Tioga counties for over 60 years. Chris was admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania in 1999 and to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2000. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and the Duquesne University School of Law. Chris litigates cases and represents clients in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Family Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Corporate & Business Law, Collections & Bankruptcy. Chris is also well versed in Oil and Gas law and litigation. Chris represents landowners in all issues dealing with natural gas development, including lease negotiations, property rights, breach of contract actions, and royalty rights. Previously he served on the Tioga Point Museum Board, Bradford County YMCA Board, Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce, and the PS Bank Advisory Board. Chris is a lifelong resident of Bradford County. He resides in Athens with his wife, Katie, and their three sons. Chris has a strong commitment to his family and community. He enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time outdoors with family and friends, hunting and fishing.

Frank J. Niemiec

Frank J. Niemiec graduated from King's College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania in 1968 with a BA in History. In 1973 he graduated from the University of Toledo where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law. While at the University of Toledo, he was a member of the law review. Frank engaged in the practice of law in the Towanda area starting in 1973. From 1976 to 1979 he was the Bradford County Assistant District Attorney. He practiced law generally with a concentration in Personal Injury law, Domestic law, and Real Estate law. Frank was one of the principals of First Abstract. He was licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and was a licensed title agent with the PA Department of Insurance. Frank, along with Mark Smith, handled the managerial aspects of First Abstract. (Deceased)

Darren A. Mendrzycki

Darren A. Mendrzycki joined Griffin, Dawsey, DePaola & Jones as an attorney in 2011. With a concentration in legal issues dealing with personal injury and civil litigation, Darren's areas of practice also include family law, collections, criminal defense, employment law, civil rights and discrimination. Darren graduated from Kings College in 1996, with a B.A. degree in political science, and received his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania as well as in the United States District Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. Darren was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania with his wife, Joanne, and their two children.
