Karen A. Leiser

Karen started her legal career as a staff attorney at Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV), where she worked in the areas of housing and family law from 1997 to 2002. She served as the Managing Attorney for the Fairfax branch of Legal Services from October 2000 through July 2002. In 2002, Karen joined the firm as the managing attorney, where she has continued her practice in the areas of family law and landlord-and-tenant disputes, and branched out into other areas, including criminal and traffic defense and personal injury. Karen fights tirelessly for clients throughout Northern VA.

Vance LeBourgeois

Recognized as a Top 40 Trial Lawyer in the DMV Area and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, Vance is barred in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. Having handled hundreds of personal injury cases for clients in and around the DMV area, Vance provides the firm substantial personal injury and litigation experience. Vance has litigated cases in D.C. Superior Court, Maryland General District and Circuit Courts, and dozens of different General District and Circuit Courts in Virginia. Vance received his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, and his law degree at Santa Clara University, earning recognition in national trial and court competitions. After serving as General Counsel for an insurance company, Vance then found his calling at a well respected personal injury and criminal law firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Vance went on to join a prestigious DC personal injury firm, receiving advanced training and experience in motor vehicle collision cases, slip and fall cases, and other personal injury matters. Harry S. Max

Harry S. Max is admitted to practice before all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Lawfty, Mr. Max worked at a personal injury firm where he represented hundreds of clients for various injury claims, including automobile accidents and slip and falls. While there, Mr. Max also gained valuable experience trying countless bench trials and several jury trials. Beforehand, Mr. Max worked at a Fairfax law firm where Mr. Max defended personal injury claims, which gives him an edge when advocating for injury victims. His experience there also included employment law, contract disputes, and landlord-tenant issues. Harry Max speaks French and Haitian Creole fluently. Harry received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from George Mason University School of Law.

Jeffrey S. Saradar

Jeffrey S. Saradar started his own practice immediately after law school. After gaining invaluable knowledge and experience as a solo practitioner for six years, Mr. Saradar joined our team at The Leiser Law Firm. He has handled a variety of civil and criminal litigation, including a number of jury trials, divorces, custody disputes, personal injury, landlord/tenant, and criminal defense, and has appeared in numerous state and federal courts, as well as on appeals to the Virginia Supreme Court and Virginia Court of Appeals.

Barred in Virginia and DC, Veronica received a Juris Doctorate from George Washington University Law School, and attended undergrad at Howard University. Veronica advises and represents clients on personal injury matters including slip and fall, dog bites, and automobile accidents. Veronica’s number one goal as a lawyer is to zealously advocate for her clients and ensure that they receive just compensation for their injuries.

Pamela B. Stuart

Pamela B. Stuart is of counsel to the firm. Ms. Stuart has practiced in Virginia since 1993 and New York since 1974. Her areas of practice include civil and criminal litigation, appeals, family law, trusts and estates, employment law, and real estate. She has represented defense contractors and members of the intelligence community in security clearance matters. She previously worked with small law firms and in the federal government with the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission, as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, and as a trial attorney with the Office of International Affairs of the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice.

Gerald L. Gilliard

Gerald Gilliard is a seasoned litigator with over seventeen years of federal and state court and administrative agency experience, representing companies, executives, management, and employees, on all sides in employment law disputes. Mr. Gilliard enjoys deep experience from representing clients against the federal government, and also from his time defending the U.S. Department of the Air Force. Mr. Gilliard was formerly an in-house counsel to a 600,000-member labor union.
