Joseph A. Ginarte is the founding partner and general counsel of the firm. His background as a factory worker, and his father's work injury, inspired him to pursue a legal career representing workers. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and launched his career in 1982. He has achieved numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $9.5 million settlement in a construction accident case. Howard N. Wiener

Howard Wiener received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College and his law degree from Seton Hall University. After law school, he was Law Secretary to the Honorable Julius A. Feinberg, J.S.C., in the Essex County Superior Court. He was an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor for four years. He then became an Assistant Prosecutor in Union County for ten years. He had several assignments, including eight years as supervisor of the investigative units, which included homicide, sex crimes, economic crimes, child abuse, arson, drugs, and welfare fraud. While serving as Investigations Supervisor, he was cross-designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney and worked with the Newark Federal Strike Force on an organized crime investigation. He joined Tobin Kessler in 1988 and for the past thirty-five years has been handling personal injury cases, primarily premises liability and auto crash cases. He has had more than 150 jury trials go to verdict and has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney for 30 years, a distinction held by a small percentage of New Jersey lawyers. He has been designated by the Superior Courts in Hudson, Union, and Middlesex Counties to serve as an Arbitrator for mandatory arbitrations of personal injury cases. Arbitrators must be highly experienced in handling these cases to be appointed to the arbitration panels. Mr. Wiener is dedicated to compensating people who were injured because of someone else’s negligence. Scott P. Kessler

Scott Kessler specializes in Personal Injury matters, including Motor Vehicle Accidents, Slip and Fall Accidents, Truck Accidents, and Dog Bite cases.
