Robert H. Lyons

Main areas of practice is criminal defense with a concentration in the areas of D.U.I. and traffic cases, personal injury, auto accidents, probate, estate and financial planning. Rob received a B.S. degree in business from Miami University, Oxford, in 1977, and a J.D. degree from Chase College of Law, North Kentucky University in 1980. He has served as Judge in the Butler County Area I Court since 1999. He has been a business law and a criminal law instructor at Miami University. Rob began practicing law in 1980. In 1983 he opened a law office in West Chester and in 1991 Rob founded Lyons & Lyons Co., L.P.A. He has been obtaining successful outcomes for his clients in State and Federal courts for decades. Rob is a frequent speaker at legal seminars that are attended by judges, magistrates, defense attorneys, and prosecutors. The seminar topics include commercial driver's license law, traffic law, OVI/DUI, sentencing, and the view from the bench. Judge Lyons has attended, on scholarship, the prestigious National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada. Rob was named the Greater Cincinnati Leading DUI Lawyer by Cincy Magazine. (This honor was determined by a vote taken of members of the Bar in the Greater Cincinnati area), and has also been rated as Super Lawyer.

Nicholas Klingensmith

Nicholas “Nick” Klingensmith is a Cincinnati Personal Injury and Litigation Attorney. He was a prosecutor for the City of Cincinnati, handling a large caseload and trying hundreds of cases. He uses his background to help clients navigate courts in Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio. He previously served as a Law Clerk and Constable for Judge Melba D. Marsh and worked for Katz Teller Brandt & Hild.

John A. Garretson

Prior to retiring in July of 2016, John A. “Jack” Garretson had been engaged in the private practice of law as a trial attorney since 1977. Jack’s primary foci as an attorney were personal injury cases representing injured clients, criminal defense and domestic relations/family law. He has represented thousands of clients in all of the courts of Butler County and in courts in the surrounding counties, federal courts, and in cases in our Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio. Jack achieved the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards in Martindale-Hubbell. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio, Jack graduated from Hamilton Taft High School in 1967 where he was class president for three years. He then graduated with honors from Princeton University in 1971, where he was an All-American swimmer. Jack graduated with honors from Northern Kentucky University Chase Law School. Through his career, Jack served as a juvenile probation officer, bailiff/constable, adult probation officer, intern prosecutor, private-practice attorney, and acting judge in a number of courts. Jack, the author of “Divorce Ohio Style,” presented at numerous legal seminars on personal injury, criminal law, and domestic relations law. He represented clients in several seven-figure personal injury cases and was lead counsel in numerous death penalty and homicide cases. At the end of his career, he was focused on personal injury cases and criminal/traffic cases.

John Treleven

John Treleven primarily practices Family Law, Divorce & Custody, having represented clients in hundreds of trials. He previously worked for Sirkin & Kinsley and the City of Cincinnati, and served as a public defender for the Village of Mariemont and Clermont County. He graduated as a James Monroe Scholar from the College of William & Mary and received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati.

J.R. Bernans

J.R. Bernans is an Ohio native, litigator, and trial attorney. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business with an accounting degree, and magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He has extensive experience in criminal cases, federal regulatory matters, and complex civil litigation, having worked at Faruki PLL, Rittgers Rittgers & Nakajima, and as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Clermont County, Ohio.

Jamie Reynolds

Jamie Reynolds is a Cincinnati native focusing her practice primarily on Domestic Relations, Juvenile Custody, and personal injury matters in Clermont, Hamilton, Warren, and Butler Counties. She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and graduated magna cum laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She previously worked as a Children’s Services caseworker and a mental health and substance use therapist.

Celia Weingartner

Celia Klug Weingartner focuses her practice on dependency, custody, estate planning, and probate matters in Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont Counties. She is a graduate of Wyoming High School, DePauw University, and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. While at law school, she was a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project and worked for Treleven and Klingensmith Law, the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, and Legal Aid.
