Neil Bhartia
Attorney Bhartia is an award winning bankruptcy and personal injury attorney with a broad range of legal and international business experience. He earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law. While there, he served as President of the International Law Society, Editor for the Law Journal, Academic Fellow, and Student Ambassador. Prior to Syndicate Legal, Neil has worked in the legal department of the Screen Actors Guild where he was involved with arbitration between studios/producers and the Guild, and has also held positions with the Public Law Center in the area of consumer fraud, and Macey & Aleman, the largest consumer bankruptcy firm in the country, where he was Senior Attorney for their Glendale office. Additionally, he was a partner at Shatford Law and continues to be of counsel to that firm. Attorney Bhartia possesses a Bachelor of International Business degree from Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario), with a focus in International Management and Spanish. He completed his MBA with a triple-major in finance, real property development, and strategy from York University (Toronto, Ontario). He has broad international work and study experience in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Mexico. Along with finance, marketing, and business development positions, Neil has worked in industries ranging from military and high-tech to education. Neil is fluent in French and Spanish and currently heads the bankruptcy practice area. Mr. Bhartia is admitted to the State Bar of California, the US Federal Court, and the Central and Southern Districts of California. He is a member of the LA County Bar Association and volunteers with Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles teaching Chapter 7 Bankruptcy to self-preparers at the San Fernando Valley Bankruptcy Court. In 2013 Mr. Bhartia was awarded the William J Lasarow Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service. Michael R. Parker
Mr. Parker graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in History. Afterward, he continued on to study law at The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he was a member of Law Review, graduated with high honors, and received the Chancellor’s award for a nearly perfect GPA. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif, awarded nationally to law graduates in the top 10% of their class. Mr. Parker is licensed to practice law in California state and federal courts. He has significant legal experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury, securing hundreds of millions of dollars of judgments, settlements, and jury verdicts. He was co-counsel on Michael Garcia v. Starbucks, where our client won a $50 million dollar verdict.

Billy Paredes
Billy Paredes is a trial attorney at M.R. Parker Law with extensive prelitigation and litigation experience in personal injury law. He handles law and motion, oral arguments, discovery, depositions, and trial work. He is fluent in Spanish. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2018 and attended Southwestern Law School, completing the SCALE Accelerated Two-Year Program in 2022. Carla Green
Carla Green is a trial attorney on the M.R. Parker Law litigation team. She has extensive litigation experience and has handled hundreds of plaintiffs’ cases over her nearly ten-year career. Prior to joining M. R. Parker Law, Ms. Green was a litigator at a social security disability boutique firm where she was lead counsel on a large caseload. Ms. Green graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Afterward, she continued on to study law at the University of Southern California. During her legal studies, Ms. Green received high honors in many of her classes and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Tort law and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts for achieving the top grade in each course. Erika Prager
Erika Prager is a litigation attorney on the M.R. Parker Law litigation team. With more than a decade of litigation experience, Ms. Prager has handled and litigated a wide-variety of cases and, through which, has developed and honed meticulous preparation and results-driven advocacy skills. Before transitioning to the plaintiff’s side, Ms. Prager spent years practicing as a defense attorney, representing large corporations and insurance companies-experience that gives her a unique insight into anticipating and aggressively countering defense litigation strategies. Ms. Prager graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French. She then went on to study law at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island, where she was twice awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and received the National Association of Women Lawyers’ Outstanding Law Student Award. After earning her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, Ms. Prager went on to earn a Master of Laws from American University’s Washington College of Law.
