David A. Wojcik

David has been practicing law since 1977. His practice includes general civil litigation, medical malpractice, tort claims, employment claims, insurance claims and municipal law. Additionally, David has experience with professional malpractice law, medical peer review, Health Care Quality Improvement Act matters, construction and contract law, and zoning and boundary disputes. David has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1977. John A. Mavricos

John has tried cases since 1979 in both the state and federal courts. His practice includes representing parties in business and commercial litigation matters, including the resolution of disputes between stockholders and partners. He has handled employment matters and other claims arising out of employment relationships. John has tried copyright, trademark and intellectual property disputes in both state and federal courts. His experience includes the litigation of probate matters including will contests and fiduciary responsibility claims. John has tried personal injury cases, product liability and other tort claims for plaintiffs, defendants and insurers. John also represents clients in business transactions including contract negotiations, leases, business sales and acquisitions, stock purchase agreements and commercial finance arrangements. He has represented financial institutions in commercial transactions, regulatory matters and litigation. John is a 1976 cum laude graduate of Williams College and a 1979 graduate of the National Law Center of the George Washington University, where he was Co-Editor of the Consumer Protection Reporting Service. He is a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association where he has been a member of the Bench Bar Committee and the Committee on Professional Ethics. As a member of the Worcester County Bar Association he has chaired the Superior Court and Trial Practice Sections. John has also served as a director of the Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts, WICN Public Radio, Inc., the Worcester Historical Society, James Monroe Wire and Cable Corporation, and a Barrister of the American Inns of Court. Michael K. Landman

Attorney Michael K. Landman is a founding partner of Landman, Akashian & Macklow, LLP, co-founding the firm in 1994. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1979 and Vermont Law School in 1982. Admitted to the Bar in December 1982, he has practiced workers’ compensation law for 29 years. His practice areas include workers’ compensation, personal injury, social security disability, and insurance defense. He has tried cases in District Court, Superior Court, and Appeals Court in Massachusetts.

Marvin S. Silver

Marvin concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration, business, tax and elder law. He assists clients by creating estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, health care proxies, and durable powers of attorney, in order to distribute their property and appoint fiduciaries to oversee estate and trust administration. The estate plans range from simple wills to complex tax-minimization trusts and other devices.
