Paul Hanna is Of Counsel to Thomas T. Boundas & Associates and is a member of Hanna Vander Ploeg. Paul previously served as a partner in a firm where he was retained primarily to represent insurance companies and their insureds in suits for personal injury. It was in that capacity that that he honed his jury trial skills on a variety of personal injury cases including automobile collisions, premises liability, construction accidents, wrongful death, and product liability. He has participated in pre-trial mediation and arbitration matters involving multimillion dollar litigation. This has given Paul a unique perspective and a competitive advantage in representing victims of personal injury. These years of experience has given Paul an understanding of defense strategy which has enabled him to assist his clients in achieving significant results through mediation, arbitration, settlement, and when necessary, Trial. Paul is an experienced Appellate Court litigator as well. He has briefed several matters which were disposed of favorably before the Illinois Appellate Court. Thomas T. Boundas

Mr. Boundas graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1984. He then went on to study at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and attended law school at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. During law school he worked for the firm of Peterson & Ross. He was licensed to practice in Illinois in 1992 and in Indiana in 1999. He has worked as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois Commerce Commission, litigating statewide against the trucking and railroad industries from 1993-1995. In 1995 he worked as an Administrative Law Judge for the Illinois Department of Insurance, hearing cases related to violations of Illinois Insurance Laws by Insurance Companies and Insurance Agencies. Mr. Boundas started his private practice in 1997. In private practice, he has represented many clients in all aspects of divorce and family law. He concentrates his practice in family law and construction/mechanics lien litigation. He handles family law matters with clients ranging in assets up to $10,000,000.00 and over. He is an experienced custody litigator, taking to trial several custody cases over his career with an excellent win loss ratio in those cases. In his mechanics lien practice, he has represented clients in lawsuits against Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, Walgreens, and several large general contractors, and has also had lawsuits on public projects with various municipalities, tollway authoritys, public school districts and federal projects. He has handled lien claims and obtained judgments up to $1,000,000.00 for some of his clients. In May 2013, Mr. Boundas settled a matter for $1,750,000.00 for a civil litigation client.

Anamaria F. Rivero-Boundas

Anamaria F. Rivero-Boundas joined Thomas T. Boundas & Associates in 2012 as an attorney. She earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2010. While at DePaul, Anamaria was a member of the Dean’s List and a recipient of the Law Achievement Scholarship. She was selected to participate in the American Bar Association’s Judicial Intern Opportunity Program, through which she served as an intern for the Honorable Sidney I. Schenkier, Presiding Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Anamaria focuses her practice on bankruptcy, and is admitted to practice before state and federal courts, including circuit courts, district courts, and courts of appeals.

Christina G. Karahalios

Christina G. Karahalios joined Thomas T. Boundas & Associates in December 2023 as an attorney. Christina graduated from IIT Chicago- Kent College of Law in May 2020. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English in 2015 and Masters of English in 2016, both from DePaul University. During law school she was secretary of the Hellenic Law Student Association and volunteered with the Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois. In law school, she was a recipient of the Hellenic Bar Scholarship. She also clerked for the Honorable Judge Anthony C. Kyriakopoulos of the Circuit Court of Cook County Chancery, Mechanics Lien Division in the summer of 2018. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk and later as an associate attorney for a small law firm in Elmwood Park, Illinois who practiced family law, probate law, and estate planning. After a year, Christina took a clerkship as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Anthony C. Kyriakopoulos. Christina is an active member of the Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois where she serves on the Board of Directors. Christina also volunteers with Best Buddies Illinois, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Christina’s primary focus is civil litigation, specifically family law, mechanics liens, probate, and real estate.
