Neil B. Nicholson

Thomas 'Randy' Walker was admitted to the New Hampshire and U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire bars in 1983. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of New Hampshire and his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. He has served as President of the Carroll County Bar Association and as Carroll County Governor for the NH Trial Lawyers Association. His practice areas include General Practice, Real Estate, and Estate Planning.

Barbara F. Loughman

Barbara Loughman is a partner at Soule, Leslie, Sayward, Kidder & Loughman. She attended Smith College, the University of New Hampshire and the University of Maryland, receiving her J.D. from the University of Maryland in 1980 (Order of the Coif). She was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1981 and is also a member of the bars of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Barbara focuses her practice primarily on all aspects of School Law and Municipal Law, including administrative hearings, trials and appeals. She has served as a lecturer at various conferences and was presented with the Annual Bradley F. Kidder Award for Outstanding Service to the Field of School Law in 2015. She is a member of several legal associations and is a past president of the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys.

Keith F. Diaz

Diaz specializes in New Hampshire personal injury, employment, construction, and real estate litigation and trial law, along with appellate work. He joins Nicholson Law Firm after more than 16 years at Bussiere & Bussiere, P.A., and previously served as an Assistant County Attorney for Rockingham County.

David W. Sayward

David Sayward is a litigator in personal injury, civil litigation and domestic relations with over 35 years of experience. He provides representation in automobile accident claims, premises liability claims and a wide variety of contract disputes, including building construction, business, real estate and landlord-tenant disputes. David also handles complex divorces involving substantial assets, business interest evaluations and parenting issues and handles domestic violence and guardianship cases, as well as adoptions. He is highly involved in Collaborative Law in New Hampshire, co-authored a chapter in 'Collaborative Law: Practice and Procedures', and helps create pro bono collaborative divorce programs. He also handles appeals to the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He retired from the practice of law at the end of 2023 and is now Of Counsel for the firm.

Gordon B. Graham

Gordon Graham received his undergraduate degree from Duke University (A.B., cum laude, 1980) and his law degree from Suffolk University (J.D., 1986). He was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1986 and has been a member of the firm since 1987. He concentrates his practice in school law and municipal law. He is a past President of the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys and a member of several legal associations. Gordon has taken an active role in many community organizations, including the Derry Town Council (Chairman in 1997), Derry Conservation Commission, and Alexander Eastman Foundation. He advises town and school district clients on complex legal needs, including Right-To-Know Law, municipal budget law, annual meeting procedures, election law, and special education law. He also has extensive experience with public works contracts, construction litigation, and labor negotiations. In 2019, he received the Alexander J. Blastos Distinguished Service Award.

JAMES P. COWLES

James P. Cowles was admitted to the New Hampshire and U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire bars in 2008. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire (2004) and a J.D. from Vermont Law School (2008), also completing coursework for an M.S.E.L. at Vermont Law School. He has served as the Carroll County Governor for the New Hampshire Bar Association and as a Board Member for several community organizations.
