Bryan Schempf

Bryan Schempf is a founding partner of Schempf & Ware. Bryan's practice includes personal injury, family law, military law, and civil litigtion. Prior to founding Schempf & Ware, Bryan was a partner at Jones Blechman Woltz Kelly PC and an associate attorney at Stein & Smith. Before entering private practice, Bryan was a Colonel and active duty U.S. Army lawyer (Judge Advocate).

Michael Ware

Michael Ware is a founding partner of Schempf & Ware. Mike practices in criminal law, traffic law, personal injury, real estate and construction law, and estate litigation. Mike also handles business transactions such as real estate closings. Prior to founding Schempf & Ware, Mike was a partner at Jones Blechman Woltz & Kelly, PC after graduating from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law.

Robert Stenzhorn

Robert (Bob) P. Stenzhorn is a litigator with Schempf & Ware, PLLC in Yorktown, Virginia. His active trial practice includes civil litigation with a focus on personal injury, business disputes, consumer claims, fraud, taxation, and bankruptcy. Bob maintains his designation as a Certified Public Account in both Virginia and the District of Columbia. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has awarded Bob the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential.

John P. Walsh

John P. Walsh received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is a Major and Aviator in the United States Army Reserves, qualified to pilot Black Hawk helicopters. He joined the firm in 2006, having practiced law in New York since 1999. He is a member of the Virginia, New York, and Connecticut State Bar Associations and a past president of the local York/Poquoson Bar Association. His practice areas include family law, personal injury, criminal law, and traffic law.

Roy H. Lasris

Roy H. Lasris is the senior partner of Denbigh Law Center. He received his BBA from Stetson University in 1974 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 1977. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Florida Bar, and a past president of the York/Poquoson Bar Association and the United Jewish Community of the Virginia Peninsula. His practice focuses on family law and consumer bankruptcy.

Chad Roberts

Chad Roberts is an Associate Attorney who joined Schempf & Ware, PLLC in 2017. His practice focuses on criminal defense, civil litigation, land use litigation, and estate litigation. Chad practices in both general district and circuit court in addition to matters before local government entities. Chad is also admitted to practice in the United States District Bankruptcy Court. Prior to joining Schempf & Ware, Chad served on active duty with the United States Air Force. He graduated from Regent University School of Law and began private practice and then joined the Newport News Commonwealth's Attorney's Office as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney.
