Jack E. Grewer, Jr.
I have a deep need to serve others. When I first decided to enter the medical professional I was teaching martial arts and earned my living as a sales manager for a local newspaper. I realized that what I was doing was not fulfilling, because I was not serving others. I had an epiphany and decided to enter medicine. I then joined the Army where the United States trained me to be a nurse. I have provided nursing care in many places and across a broad spectrum of venues. I have nursed from hospital intensive care units to psychiatric units to transitionary care units. I have worked in nursing homes and have done home health nursing as well as consulting. While caring for this sweet little nun at a local nursing home I told her the story of how I decided to become a nurse. She smiled and said that I was called by God. It seemed silly to me at the time. I am older now and have realized that perhaps it was not so silly after all. I have held positions from the bedside nurse to the Director of Nursing to the Director of Clinical Operations. I really enjoy bedside nursing, but I began to understand that my patients often times needed more than a bedside nurse. They needed someone to understand what they were going through and be their advocate. After graduating from the College of Law at Northern Illinois University, I rose to the position of Senior Healthcare Consultant and traveled the Country helping hospitals, health systems and physician practices develop and implement systems of patient care using State and Federal licensure, accreditation and certification requirements. I went on to work with a prestigious Personal Injury Law firm in Chicago for several years. The primary emphasis was on medical malpractice and I participated in countless cases developing complicated theories of liability and assessing personal injury damages that earned millions of dollars. I believe my grasp of law and complicated clinical medical issues has allowed me to see things that others may not have been able to see. On several occasions I have been able to find negligence where others could not. Which is to say, if another law firm has turned your case down please give me a call. Opening the Grewer Law Group, P.C. is the most satisfying thing that I have done in my career. I have the opportunity to serve and minister to people who have been hurt or to the families of a loved one who have been killed. We have recovered millions of dollars through litigation, arbitration and mediation for the injured. I use my skills to help people and their families find answers, gain closure and obtain financial compensation as the law requires. If having a friendly approachable attorney who views you as a person and not a number and will work hard to get the compensation that you deserve as the law allows then please contact us for a free consultation right now. Grewer Law Group, P.C. works on a contingent basis and will only be paid if you recover. On a case by case basis arrangements can be made for us to come and visit with you in your home, hospital or nursing home and provide you with a free consultation.
