John Alberts

John Alberts grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma, and worked on his family farm. He graduated from Oklahoma State University (B.S. 1987) and Oklahoma City University (J.D. 1990). He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kay County. He has been an attorney for over thirty-five years, primarily in private practice in the Oklahoma City area. He served on the Yukon City Council, including several terms as Mayor. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, Canadian County Bar Association, and several boards and foundations. He is Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated Lawyer since 2008. His practice areas include Family Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Nursing Home Neglect.

Kirk Olson

Kirk Olson moved to Oklahoma as a child and graduated from Northeast High School in 1984. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Oklahoma State University in 1988 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1992, where he served as research editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Oklahoma Association for Justice, and American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit, and United States District Court of the Western, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma. He has over 30 years of legal experience representing injured plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, sexual abuse, Alzheimer’s/Nursing Home abuse, semi-tractor trailer collisions, and insurance dispute cases. He has received the Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious “AV” rating and the Oklahoma County Bar Association's Leadership in Law Award in 2008. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Nathan D. Richter

Nathan D. Richter was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Mustang High School (1996), the University of Oklahoma (BS 2000), and Oklahoma City University School of Law (JD 2007). Before his legal career, he was a geneticist and served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, deploying to Afghanistan in 2003 and receiving the Joint Forces Commendation Medal. He co-founded and serves as Chief Legal Officer of Nature’s Key, and was CEO from 2020-2023. Nathan is a trial lawyer specializing in civil litigation, including cannabis industry matters, complex commercial matters, and product liability actions. He is a former President of the Canadian County Bar Association (2012), Chairperson of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division, Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors, and an Oklahoma Bar Foundation Board Member. He volunteers with Trinity Legal Clinic, Youth & Family Services of El Reno (former President and board member), and Lawyers for Heroes. He is married to Kristin and has two children.

Mark Van Paasschen

Mark Van Paasschen is an experienced civil litigation attorney known for being a fierce advocate for injured Oklahomans with a creative and innovative approach. He opened his solo personal injury law practice in 2013. He is a Canadian County resident and is the stadium Public Address announcer for Mustang High School football and basketball games, and a freelance employee for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma City Baseball Club. He is an active member of Crossings Community Church. Mark is licensed to practice in state and federal court in Oklahoma and in his home state of Texas. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, and Canadian County Bar Association. He graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law (J.D. 2012) and the University of Texas (Bachelor of Journalism 2003).

Billie J. Seabolt

Billie J. Seabolt joined Bison Law recently as a legal assistant, with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration from Devry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management. She worked for the Curry County District Attorney’s Office and has over 7 years of experience in personal injury law. She is currently completing her Certificate in Paralegal Studies. Billie is a Canadian County resident and enjoys nature walks, reading, cooking, exploring OKC, and traveling.

Karen K. D. Brady

Karen K.D. Brady joined Bison Law Firm in 2024 as a paralegal, bringing over 25 years of legal experience. She attended the University of Oklahoma and earned her paralegal degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She has extensive experience working for district judges and attorneys in various settings. Karen is past president of the Central Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants and currently serves as treasurer. She is a devoted animal lover and previously served as President of Volunteers for Animal Welfare. She volunteers with Crossings Community Church.

Stephanie Davis

Stephanie Davis is the oldest of seven children, a mother of four, and a grandmother of six. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999. She has worked in various positions including apartment leasing agent, retail sales clerk, accounting clerk, and administrative assistant. For the past 22 years, she has worked as an Office/Operations manager. She volunteers with organizations like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Infant Crisis Center, and supports Breast Cancer Awareness, Choose Life, Alzheimer’s Research, Christian Radio Stations, and Warriors for Freedom.
