Clayton T. Kendrick

Clayton T. Kendrick is an attorney who gained extensive legal experience in various practice areas including business formation, traffic citations, civil litigation, landlord-tenant matters, family law, probate, and estate planning. He graduated cum laude from Mercer University School of Law, where he was a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Team, inducted into the Order of Barristers and National Order of Scribes, and served as Editor in Chief of the Mercer Law Review. Virgil L. Brown

Virgil L. Brown founded Virgil L. Brown & Associates in June 1984. He graduated from Gordon Military College in 1969 and completed his Juris Doctorate degree at Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1984. He served in the Navy from 1964-1967 and has a notable career in law enforcement and county commission before founding his law firm.

Eric D. Hearn

Eric D. Hearn graduated from the University of Georgia with an accounting degree in 1976 and later from the University of Georgia law program in 1978. He passed the Georgia Bar before graduating and began his career in law enforcement, rising to Sergeant in charge of the Narcotics Division. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Griffin Judicial Circuit before becoming a partner at Virgil L. Brown & Associates in 1988.

Larkin M. Lee

Larkin M. Lee graduated from Georgia College in 1989 with a BS in political science and received his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University Law School in 1993. He joined Virgil L. Brown & Associates in March 1994 and has successfully resolved numerous legal defense cases, including several appeals in the Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.

Brent D. Hutchison

Brent D. Hutchison, originally from Paris, Kentucky, graduated from Gordon College with an Associate of Arts in 1994 and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Political Science at Georgia Southwestern University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in May 2004. Brent began working for Virgil L. Brown & Associates as a paralegal in 2002 and was hired full-time after graduating in 2004.

R. Jeffrey Ellington

R. Jeffrey Ellington graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctorate from Walter F. George School of Law in 2001. He passed the bar in October 2001 and immediately began practicing law at Virgil L. Brown & Associates, where he had worked during law school.

Michael D. Kelley

Michael D. Kelley graduated summa cum laude from Gordon College in 2003 with an Associate of Arts, and magna cum laude from Georgia State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in May 2012. Admitted to the Georgia Bar in November 2012, he began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, later serving as an Assistant District Attorney, and rejoined criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender before joining Virgil Brown & Associates in August 2023.
