When Crashes Happen

The peak day for fatal crashes shifted from Friday with 13 fatal crashes in September 2022 to Saturday with 10 fatal crashes in September 2023. Similarly, the peak hour for fatal crashes moved from 5 PM with 7 fatal crashes in the prior period to 10 PM with 5 fatal crashes in the current period.

Vehicles & Demographics

The total number of vehicles involved in fatal crashes increased from 68 in September 2022 to 90 in September 2023. Honda vehicles involved in fatal crashes more than doubled from 5 to 11, and Toyota vehicles also increased from 5 to 10. Chevrolet saw a slight decrease from 11 to 10 vehicles, and Ford decreased from 10 to 8.

Manner of Collision
