Top Contributing Factors
Collisions with animals remained the leading contributing factor in both periods, increasing in count from 78 incidents in 2021 to 92 in 2022. The second most common factor in 2022 was failure to yield from a stop sign, which accounted for 27 crashes, down from 34 in the prior year.
