Crash Severity Breakdown

Top Contributing Factors

The leading contributing factors remained consistent, with 'Animal' and 'Followed too close' ranking as the top two causes in both June 2026 and June 2025. There were notable shifts in the counts of specific factors; crashes attributed to 'Followed too close' decreased by 9.5% from 451 to 408 incidents. Road & Environmental Conditions

Crash conditions remained stable between June 2025 and June 2026. In both periods, approximately two-thirds of all crashes occurred in clear weather (65.9% in 2026 vs. 65.2% in 2025). Vehicles & Demographics
