When Crashes Happen

The peak day for fatal crashes shifted from Friday in 2022, with 26 fatal crashes, to Monday in 2023, with 20 fatal crashes. The peak hour also changed, moving from 6 PM in 2022 (11 fatal crashes) to 9 PM in 2023 (15 fatal crashes). Fatal crashes on Thursdays decreased from 20 in 2022 to 18 in 2023, while fatal crashes on Mondays increased from 17 to 20.
