When Crashes Happen
While Friday remained the most common day for crashes in both 2021 and 2022, the peak time for collisions shifted. In 2022, the peak hour was 7 a.m. with 130 crashes, a change from 2021 when the 4 p.m. hour saw the highest volume with 136 crashes. The morning commute replaced the afternoon commute as the period with the highest crash frequency.

Vehicles & Demographics
The primary vehicle types involved in crashes, Passenger Cars and Sport Utility Vehicles, remained consistent between the two periods. This dataset contains official police-reported motor vehicle traffic crash records maintained by the reporting jurisdiction's law enforcement agency. Records are published to the open data portal by the municipality and are subject to the portal's terms of use.

- Open data portal records may experience a publication lag - recently occurring crashes may not yet appear in the dataset at the time of report generation.
