When Crashes Happen

The peak day for fatal crashes shifted from Friday with 15 fatal crashes in 2022 to Sunday with 20 fatal crashes in 2023. The peak hour for fatal crashes remained 9 PM in both periods, although the count decreased from 10 fatal crashes in 2022 to 8 in 2023.

Vehicles & Demographics

Chevrolet remained the most frequently involved vehicle make in fatal crashes, increasing from 20 in 2022 to 22 in 2023. Ford maintained its second position, with its involvement slightly decreasing from 19 to 18 vehicles. Manner of Collision

The dominant manner of collision in both periods was "The First Harmful Event was Not a Collision with a Motor Vehicle in Transport," increasing from 52 fatal crashes in 2022 to 60 in 2023.
