When Crashes Happen

Crash Severity Breakdown
The severity of crashes remained broadly similar between August 2016 and August 2017, with 7 fatal crashes recorded in each period. Speed Limit Zones
When comparing crashes by posted speed limits, there was a decrease in incidents within mid-range speed zones of 40-55 mph, falling from 489 crashes in August 2016 to 422 in August 2017. Records are published to the open data portal by the municipality and are subject to the portal's terms of use.
