When Crashes Happen
The temporal patterns of crashes remained largely consistent year-over-year, with Monday being the peak day for crashes in both December 2013 (229 crashes) and December 2012 (243 crashes). The 6 p.m. hour was also the peak time for collisions in both periods, accounting for 116 crashes in the current period and 105 in the prior.
