Attorney A.J. Kalfus is a founding partner and co-managing shareholder at Kalfus & Nachman, co-founding the practice in 1979. He focuses on keeping clients informed and ensuring fair treatment in civil matters, corporate and business transactions, real estate closings, and tax-related issues. Mr. Kalfus earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Norfolk College of William and Mary in 1962. He began his career in accounting, passed the CPA exam in California, and taught accounting at the University of Tennessee before earning his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1967. He passed the Virginia bar after his second year of law school.
