A Pennsylvania man, Carlos Martinez, was left paralyzed after a rollover accident in his Acura Integra. A tire blow out caused him to lose control, and the faulty seatbelt design caused his head to hit the roof, leading to paralysis. A two-year-old boy suffered a skull fracture and traumatic brain injury at a Norfolk hotel when he fell through a second floor balcony railing that was missing a vertical bar and landed head first on the pavement below. He was left with cognitive, emotional, behavioral and motor deficits and seizures as a result of his traumatic brain injury.

Truck Accident

Our 34 year old client was stopped in traffic on the MMMBT when her vehicle was struck from behind by a commercial truck traveling 50 mph. The left lane of travel on the roadway was closed due to road construction ahead. The truck driver was trying to save time by driving in the closed left lane. As he approached the stopped traffic, the truck driver abruptly changed lanes and crashed into the rear of our client’s car, demolishing it. Our client suffered a traumatic brain injury and stroke which limited her use of her left arm and leg and left her with severe cognitive deficits.

Auto Accident

A 25 year old IT specialist was riding as the front seat passenger in a car being driven by a government contractor in Kuwait. As the contractors’ vehicle approached a stopped bus, the bus pulled away from the curb and began to make a U-turn. The driver of the car was unable to stop in time and broad-sided the bus. Our client suffered severe and permanent back and spinal cord injuries resulting in paralysis (paraplegia).
