About Alan

A long-time resident of South Carolina, Alan Wenger became a Virginian by choice in 2010, attending Washington and Lee University School of Law. After graduating first in his class, he began his legal career with a large firm in Richmond, Virginia, defending corporate clients in complex commercial disputes. Alan also worked with victims of domestic violence to help them secure protective orders. Later, Alan defended automobile manufacturers against product-liability lawsuits in state and federal courts. Alan joined Geoff McDonald & Associates, P.C., after nearly four years with the Office of the Chief Staff Attorney of the Court of Appeals of Virginia, where he helped the judges of the Court of Appeals address civil and criminal appeals. He focuses his practice on helping clients who have sustained personal injuries. Alan uses his experience and knowledge to help his clients at every stage of their cases and works to achieve a good outcome for each client. Alan understands that being injured in an accident is a traumatic experience that often continues to present hardship long after the accident. He knows that behind every injury is a person waiting to tell their story. Outside of work, Alan is active in his church and enjoys spending time with his family and their numerous pets. He and his family return to the mountains around Lexington, Virginia as often as possible. Alan also enjoys preparing grilled and smoked meats for family and friends.
