About Alexander

Alexander “Alex” Lewis is a lifelong resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended Spartanburg High School and upon graduation enrolled at Clemson University. While at Clemson, Alex was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and the William T. Howell Pre-Law Society. Alex graduated from Clemson in May of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Upon graduation from Clemson, Alex enrolled in the Charleston School of Law where he graduated in 2010. Alex excelled in and out of the classroom. In addition to serving as the Student Body President in his third year, Alex was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Civil Procedure and was selected for membership in the James L. Petigru Inn of Court. While in law school, Alex had the privilege of working at several Plaintiffs firms that handled mass torts, garnering him a wealth of experience. After law school, Alex moved back to Spartanburg, where he gained invaluable experience working for several Spartanburg attorneys handling a variety of matters from medical malpractice and large-scale class action litigation to simple automobile accidents and probate matters. His varied experiences allow him the flexibility to serve a wide range of clients in a variety of practice areas. Alex is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state and federal courts. Professionally, Alex has been named as a Super Lawyers Rising star for the years of 2023-2025. He is also a lifetime member of the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum. Additionally, Alex has been recognized by the Spartanburg County Bar Association as the 2017 C. Bruce Littlejohn Young Lawyer of the Year recipient. Alex is very involved in the local community, and currently serves on the board for the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, as well as the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind Foundation. In his spare time, Alex enjoys following Clemson Athletics and spending time with his family.
