About Alexander

Alec Hogsette is a trial attorney and litigator at Temple & Hogsette Law. He exclusively represents survivors and a victim’s family with personal injury claims involving commercial motor vehicle crashes, tractor-trailer or 18-wheeler wrecks, car wrecks, work-related injuries, premises liability claims, nursing home neglect/abuse, defective products claims, victims of drunk drivers, and animal attacks. He leads a litigation team and has experience with complex cases involving traumatic brain injuries, amputations, spinal injuries, paralysis, and wrongful deaths. Alec graduated from the University of the South; Sewanee in 2004 and the Charleston School of Law in 2013. He worked for a Federal Court Judge and clerked for a Resident Circuit Court Judge. Prior to joining Temple & Hogsette, Alec defended insurance companies for nearly a decade, giving him insight into their evaluation methods. He uses experts in various fields to establish client claims. He serves on the South Carolina Bar’s Board of Governors and is a founding member and President of the Pee Dee Inn of Court. He is a past president of the Florence County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar’s Young Lawyer Division representative for the 12th Judicial Circuit. He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA).
