About E.

E. Hood Temple is a trial attorney and litigator at Temple & Hogsette Law, LLC with over 34 years of experience. He exclusively represents injured workers, car and tractor-trailer crash victims, and the families of victims in personal injury claims. He leads the litigation team handling Workers’ Compensation claims and also handles cases involving collisions with tractor-trailers, car wrecks, defective products, victims of drunk drivers, nursing home negligence/abuse, and premises liability claims. He has experience with complex cases involving traumatic brain injuries, amputations, spinal injuries, paralysis, and wrongful deaths. Hood attended Wofford College on an academic scholarship, where he was elected and served as President of the Student Body. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with his Juris Doctorate. He began practicing law with The Hyman Law Firm in August 1989 (the predecessor to Temple & Hogsette Law). He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has held numerous leadership positions in legal associations. He is also deeply involved in community service, co-founding Camp Pee Dee Pride and ScienceSouth, and serving on various educational commissions.
