About Alexandria
Alexandria Avera, granddaughter of firm founder Bill Avera, is dedicated to continuing his legacy. A Gainesville native, she graduated with honors from the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law. Her practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, having assisted in multiple jury trials with seven-figure verdicts and recently obtaining a $4.4 million verdict as first chair. Alex is active in the legal community, serving on the Board of the Gainesville Area Trial Lawyers Association and the Gerald T. Bennet Inn of Court, and on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association’s Young Lawyer Section. She has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers association as a Top 40 under 40 Civil Plaintiff attorney for the past three years. She also fosters for Alachua County’s animal rescue groups.
