
About Ali
Ali practiced law for ten years in Pakistan where he prosecuted and defended criminal cases, as well as represented client in constitutional matters. Before being called to the Bar in Nova Scotia, Ali was a research analyst with MacGillivray Law for three years. Since being called to the bar in Nova Scotia, Ali has represented clients before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia as well as the Federal Canadian Pension Plan Disability Tribunals (CPP). Ali believes that everybody should have to answer to the law, including the rich and the powerful, and that all people are deserving of equal concern and respect. Ali has an affinity for cars and spends much of his spare time watching Formula 1 racing. He also enjoys listening to music and engaging in geo political issues, especially those focused on the disparity between regions.
