About Amanda

Amanda Sooley is an Associate with Roebothan McKay Marshall, called to the bar in 2024. Graduating from Memorial University with both a Bachelor of Arts and a Certificate of Criminology in 2020, she went on to study at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law. While there, she was the recipient of both the Emond Montgomery Prize in Property and the Townsend/Fisher Prize in Real Estate Transactions before receiving her Juris Doctor in 2023. She has focused her practice on Personal Injury, Family Law, Wills & Estates, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate - adding even more expertise to our expert team. She is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. Away from work, she’s an avid reader and knitter while also spending time settling in with her Gorden Setter and watching reality TV.
