About Amy

Amy Lawson joined Embry Merritt Womack Nance, PLLC, in March 2020 as Of Counsel, focusing on workers’ compensation and civil litigation. She has practiced Kentucky workers’ compensation law and civil litigation in Lexington for 17 years. Amy graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2003, where she participated nationally as a member of the UK Trial Team and interned with the Commonwealth’s Attorney. She has practiced with three large civil litigation and workers’ compensation firms since obtaining her law license and passing the Kentucky bar in 2003.
