About Angelo

Angelo Cifelli, Jr. is a Managing Principal at Piro Zinna Cifelli Paris & Genitempo. He has advised many New Jersey governmental entities for over three decades, specializing in land use, environmental matters, complex real estate transactions, governmental, and corporate matters. He has served as Special Counsel to the Nutley Board of Education and represents the Essex Regional Health Commission. He has also been counsel to the Franklin Township Planning Board and a review attorney for Pascack Community Bank and Lakeland Bank. He has served as counsel to the Newark Zoning Board of Adjustment since 1982 and currently serves as special counsel to the Township of Nutley for Land Use matters. He served two terms as an Essex County Freeholder and was a member of the Essex County District Ethics Committee. A graduate of Fordham University and New York Law School, he joined Piro Zinna in 1982 after a judicial clerkship and private practice. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar (1975) and various U.S. federal courts. He holds an 'AV Preeminent' Rating by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized as a New Jersey Monthly Magazine Super Lawyer.
