Ara Jabagchourian is a trial attorney with vast experience in numerous areas of civil law. He has handled hundreds of matters to successful resolution, either through settlement or verdict. His trials range from small personal injury matters to a class action fraud matter exceeding $100 million verdict. He provides each case his full attention, skill and passion, which has resulted in fantastic results for his clients. His verdicts have been recognized as some of the highest and most impactful in the country, and his results have been recognized by peers and judges as extraordinary. He is recognized as an expert in numerous areas, publishing over two dozen legal articles and lecturing across the state. He started his legal career as a staff attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition in Washington D.C. handling antitrust matters. He then worked for a large firm representing numerous companies in antitrust, intellectual property and commercial disputes. He then worked for a plaintiff oriented law firm, where as partner, he handled over a hundred matters to completion. He also served as a judicial extern for Associate Justice Marvin R. Baxter of the California Supreme Court and Presiding Justice James Ardaiz of the California Court of Appeals, Fifth Appellate District. Notable cases include a $114.5 million class action Ponzi scheme verdict, the highest single death verdict in San Diego County history for a wrongful death matter, representing nearly five dozen households in the PG&E pipeline explosion, and being appointed liaison counsel for the Princess Cruise Line ship incident.
