About Austin

Austin Wade-Vicente practices as a member of the firm's Personal Injury Department. He is currently licensed in Virginia. Austin is eager to meet his clients and fight for their interests. Austin was born in Anchorage, Alaska, where his father, stepmother, brother, and sister still reside today. However, Austin spent most of his life growing up in Yukon, Oklahoma with his mother, stepfather, two brothers, and sister. Therefore, he has spent most of his life traveling great distances for the love of family. However, his trip to Richmond, Virginia, was the first time he had been away from family for more than a few weeks. But what brought him here was a feeling of passion for advocacy and the law. Austin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Political Science in 2019. It was there that his experiences as a member of the Sooner Debate and Speech team and as vice president of the Gamma Beta Phi honor society made Austin interested in advocacy and legal service. He then worked at the Oklahoma Tax Commission, where he realized that his favorite part of his duties was not granting hundreds of tax exemptions, but helping and communicating with those in need. He then made the one-way trip to Richmond, Virginia, to attend the University of Richmond School of Law, where he graduated in 2023. It was here that Austin worked at the University's Transactional and Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he enjoyed his first legal experience in client advocacy. Austin first came to Geoff McDonald & Associates as an intern in the summer of 2022, along with his colleague attorney Caleb Thompson. Austin enjoyed his time at GMA so much that he gladly accepted the offer to join the team after graduation. Austin is now forming his own family in Richmond, Virginia, with his spectacular girlfriend Amanda and his Beagle mix Jameson (he has many photos, don't worry). When not at work, Austin enjoys cooking, exercising, home improvements, collecting records, and catching up via phone call or TV show with his best friends Joey, Joe, and Brandt.
