Babar Waheed won his first district court jury trial in his first week as a lawyer after being sworn in by the Colorado Supreme Court. He is committed to representing individuals against powerful entities and insurance companies. As a partner at Dan Caplis Law in Denver, Colorado, his practice focuses on catastrophic injuries, brain injuries, and wrongful death, including victims of drunk and drugged drivers. Babar is known for maximizing client outcomes through deep legal knowledge and creative strategies, being the first attorney to hold a corporation responsible for a felonious killing by its driver and successfully reversing a trial court decision on punitive damages in the Colorado Appellate Courts. He has secured significant judgments, including a $1.2 million judgment for a head injury client and a $1 million recovery for a pedestrian. Alongside Dan Caplis, he helped secure the largest trucking verdict in Colorado history, exceeding $25 million.
