About Brenden
Brenden P. Leydon leads the firm's Product Liability practice and handles complex personal injury and civil litigation. He has successfully resolved numerous cases against major manufacturers and trucking companies, and obtained many successful verdicts. He graduated from Tufts University and Rutgers-Newark Law School in 1995. Prior to law school, he served in the United States Army National Guard. Brenden has argued numerous appeals in the Connecticut Supreme Court, Connecticut Appellate Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has received honors such as the Connecticut Law Tribune Impact Award in 2002, the Rutger’s Law School Constitutional Litigation Clinic Alumni Award in 2001, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2009. In 2015, he was inducted into the Personal Injury Hall of Fame for Product Liability by the Connecticut Law Tribune. In 2019, he obtained a $15,000,000.00 verdict in Amparo v. Ayala. He is on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and chairs the CTLA Product Liability Committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (AIEG) and has served as Co-Chair of the Appellate Practice Committee for Stamford/Norwalk Regional Bar Association and as a Commissioner for the Connecticut Law Revision Commission.
