About Brian
Brian Easton has practiced law since 1995 and has spent the entire 29+ years of his career as an attorney working to help injured people. In recognition of his years of trial skill, professionalism, and ethics, Brian was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has also been selected to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum® - The Top Trial Lawyers in America® and has been chosen each year since 2014 as a Top 100 National Trial Lawyer. Additionally, he has been designated a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and been selected each year by Best Lawyers in America. Brian is the Co-Managing Partner at Easton & Easton primarily responsible for overseeing the firm’s litigation department. Brian received his B.A. degree Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University, and his Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 1995. He has taught continuing education classes for the OC Bar Association and has mentored many young lawyers throughout his career. He has followed in his father’s footsteps treating everyone with the utmost of respect, fighting for justice for his clients, and always practicing the highest standards of ethical conduct. Over the past 29+ years, Brian has been a central figure in many of Easton & Easton’s most significant verdicts and settlements, and has obtained more than $100,000,000 for his clients. This includes a $32,000,000 policy limits settlement for a 71-year-old bicyclist struck by a cement truck; $26,000,000 settlement for a construction worker who was injured through site negligence while servicing a construction elevator; $20,000,000 for a client injured when a homeless woman fell 11 stories and landed on him in a hotel valet waiting area; and $7,000,000 for an inebriated college student who fell more than two stories in a newly built campus auditorium. In each case, there were significant disputes on liability and comparative fault, yet Brian’s undaunted efforts to litigate the matters ultimately prevailed in establishing the defendants’ liability and lead to the remarkable results for each of these seriously injured clients. In recognition of his exceptional career as a trial lawyer and the civility he has always shown toward his colleagues and opposing counsels while zealously advocating for his clients, Brian was selected as the Joseph D. McNeil Attorney Civility Award Recipient for 2024 by the OC Chapter of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) - an honor given only once a year to a trial lawyer who has exhibited exemplary skill, ethics, and civility as a litigator. If asked about his career, Brian would say that helping change the lives of those who have been seriously injured and giving them a future filled with hope has been the best part of his career. The close second benefit to choosing law as a career has been the blessing of working the past 28 years side-by-side with his family. Besides being a lawyer, Brian is a father of three children, a member of the Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, an Eagle Scout, has served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and is an active community member. Brian loves life, is a friend to all who know him, and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, golfing, and wakesurfing.
