About Mani
Mani Navab is a Senior Associate at Easton & Easton, LLP and has been a Personal Injury Attorney with the firm since 2019. Since that time, Mani has become a central figure in the firm’s remarkable success over the past 5 years, acquiring more than $100,000,000 for his clients, which includes $32,000,000 in 2024 for a bicyclist and $26,000,000 in 2023 for a construction worker. Mani received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006, where he majored in Pre-law & Society. Mani went on to pursue a law degree at Whittier Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and the Journal of Child & Family Advocacy. In May 2014, Mani graduated from law school Summa Cum Laude, placing in the top 5% of his class. In December 2014, Mani was admitted to the California Bar. Throughout law school, Mani strived to master all areas of law, as well as hone his trial advocacy skills. During law school, Mani received five (5) CALI awards (an award for the top grade in the class). As a steppingstone to continually refine his oral advocacy skills, Mani entered the Susan E. McGuigan Oral Advocacy Competition where he bested a field of over 20 highly skilled law students and was chosen as the “Best Overall Competitor” and won “Best Brief.” Mani has always been driven to be a trial lawyer, understanding that the real decision makers behind personal injury matters (i.e. the insurance companies) assess risk, valuation, and exposure based on the propensity of attorneys taking a case to trial or arbitration. With that understanding, Mani always seeks to build a close and personal relationship with each client so that each client feels comfortable and at home with his services. Building these types of relationships enables Mani to tell a personalized human story unique to each client in keeping with mantra of the Easton & Easton family. Mani has acquired more than $100,000,000 for his clients by way of settlement, trial verdict, and arbitration. This includes a $26,000,000 policy limits settlement in 2023 for a construction worker who was severely injured at a construction site after the defendants put profits over the safety of its workers, where Mani was able to successfully defeat a very difficult and intricate defense Motion for Summary Judgment on the issue of dual employment; and a $32,000,000 policy limits settlement in 2024 for a bicyclist who was traveling on a city street when a cement truck collided with the cyclist, where the police report placed the plaintiff at fault for the accident and Mani was able to show the defendant’s liability through diligent investigation and litigation to uncover video footage showing the true facts of the accident in the plaintiff’s favor. Mani has handled all aspects of a personal injury case from initiation to ultimately trying cases where insurance companies simply refuse to provide fair value for their insured’s actions. Mani is well versed in all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation, and he understands the value of cases and knows how to anticipate the usual defense strategies employed by insurance companies to devalue cases. Understanding these defense strategies allows Mani to build a case strategy from day one that will help maximize results for his clients. When the insurance companies refuse to offer reasonable value, Mani is well equipped to try the case and seek full value and compensation for his clients. Mani was lead counsel for a trial verdict that was 11 times the pre-trial settlement offer; Mani also arbitrated an uninsured motorist crash that resulted in a binding award that was more than 20 times the pre-arbitration offer. Both cases had significant issues regarding the clients pre-existing injuries, yet Mani dissected the thousands of medical records and the defense medical reports to formulate strategies that discredited the defense theories and lead to the remarkable results. While personal injury cases are in large measure about the individual’s human stories, Mani understands the importance of mastering the medical literature and science behind those injuries to show the relationship between the trauma (i.e. the incident) and the injuries. When not at work, Mani enjoys basketball, football, golf, traveling, fantasy sports, and attending continuing education legal seminars. Mani is admitted to practice in all California state courts, and the United States District Court, Central District.
