Bruce A. Cranner is a seasoned litigator with over 40 years of experience handling complex medical liability, product liability, asbestos, and insurance cases. He is admitted in Louisiana and Texas, all Federal Courts in Louisiana, The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Mr. Cranner’s commercial litigation practice is focused on representing healthcare providers in a broad spectrum of matters, including non-compete disputes, licensure defense, and business-related conflicts. He serves as Independent Counsel to the Louisiana Board of Dentistry, providing strategic legal guidance on regulatory and professional issues. In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Cranner is frequently appointed as a mediator in sophisticated cases-particularly those involving Medicare Secondary Payer issues. He also serves as national coordinating asbestos trial counsel for a New York-based engineering firm, overseeing litigation efforts across the United States. Over the course of his career, Mr. Cranner has tried more than 40 jury cases to verdict, including many involving complex medical issues and catastrophic injury or death. His trial experience covers a wide range of medical specialties, such as cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pain management, orthopedics, and toxic substance exposure. Beyond his legal practice, Bruce is an avid sailor, recreational road cyclist, groomed slope skier, and licensed private pilot.
