C. Andrew Harrell, Jr. focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, probate, banking and finance, business formation, business transactions, contract preparation, and civil litigation. Andrew’s real estate practice includes representing clients in acquisitions and sales, condominium formation, subdivision formation, landlord-tenant matters, correcting title defects, commercial leases, zoning and planning matters, subdivision and condominium association matters, preparation of deeds, contracts and other real estate documents, and general representation to buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents and real estate developers. Andrew’s probate practice includes probating testate (with a will) and intestate (without a will) estates, will contests, adoptions, guardianships, and conservatorships, as well as preparing documents for clients such as wills, powers of attorney, advanced health care directives (living wills), and other estate planning documents. Andrew’s banking practice includes the negotiation and preparation of commercial loan documents for lending institutions, as well as residential loan documents for owner-financed transactions. Andrew also handles foreclosures. Andrew’s business law practice includes the formation of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, asset sales and purchases, purchase and sale of membership interests and stock transfers, contract negotiations and document preparation. Andrew’s civil litigation practice includes curing title issues, planning and zoning matters, contract disputes, fraud claims, construction cases, Interstate Land Sale Full Disclosure Act claims, Section 8 Housing claims, evictions and unlawful detainers, and personal injury. Andrew began his career as an Assistant District Attorney working for Baldwin County, Alabama District Attorney John David Whetstone prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. In 2001, Andrew entered into private practice representing clients in the areas of real estate, probate, banking and finance, business law, and civil law.
