About Carol
Carol I. Zacheiss, originally from the New York Metropolitan area, began her legal career as a Prosecutor in Brooklyn and the Bronx for seven years. She is an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate attorney specializing in criminal law matters, traffic violations, and appealing Concealed Carry Permit Denials. She also handles criminal record expungement, gun right restoration, and restraining orders, with extensive experience in Drug Crimes, Firearms Charges, and Fourth Amendment Search and Seizure. After relocating to Richmond, Virginia, she served as a prosecutor for Richmond City Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, handling violent crimes and serving on the Domestic Violence Team. She then joined the Petersburg Public Defender’s Office and helped open two new Public Defender’s Offices in the Tidewater area. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two working dogs, traveling, swimming, reading, cooking, gardening, and animal rescue.
