Christan C. Routten, a former Public Defender for the First Judicial District for over 19 years, has joined Parks Zeigler's Elizabeth City, North Carolina office. She brings extensive trial and negotiation experience in criminal matters ranging from traffic offenses to murder. Christan graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia in 2001 and Cum Laude from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2004. Her practice will focus entirely on criminal and traffic defense matters, leveraging her deep knowledge of northeastern North Carolina courts.
