About Christine
Christine Martin joined Tetzel Law in 2024 as a partner and team leader. She is a trial attorney who represents clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, guiding them from the initial consultation through trial, arbitration, mediation, or settlement. Her commitment and attention to detail ensures that each case is handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Before joining Tetzel Law, Christine served as Assistant General Counsel at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority for nine years, where she handled personal injury defense cases. During her tenure, she served as lead counsel responsible for the successful disposition of over 300 litigation matters. This role refined her trial and litigation skills and deepened her understanding of the complexities of personal injury law. She began her career representing plaintiffs at a personal injury firm in Boston’s West End for four years where she developed a passion for trial advocacy. Recently, Christine was invited to join New England Dispute Resolution’s panel as a mediator and arbitrator, providing alternative dispute options to clients throughout New England. In addition to her legal practice, Christine has been an active volunteer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) since 2017. She is a member of MCLE’s Civil Litigation Curriculum Advisory Committee, chairs two annual workshops on Cross-Examination and Expert Witnesses, and is an instructor for the Trial Advocacy Seminar. Christine received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association as well as the American Bar Association, where she volunteers as a judge for the National Oral Advocacy Competitions on a biannual basis.
