About Christopher

Mr. Spinelli joined Emroch & Kilduff in 2013, after working for a decade in Hampton Roads, where he practiced with a large plaintiffs’ firm. For more than fifteen years, Chris has advocated for his injured clients in federal courts, appeals courts, circuit courts, district courts, and disability and workers’ compensation hearings across the Commonwealth. He has tried countless cases to favorable verdict, and has worked zealously to resolve many medical malpractice and wrongful death cases with settlements in excess of One Million Dollars. A devoted advocate, Chris skillfully strives to combine courage, thoughtfulness, and preparation to press for his clients’ advantage both in and out of court. Born and raised a Richmonder, Chris graduated from Midlothian High School and then attended the College of William and Mary for his undergraduate degree, which he took with honors. After several years’ teaching, he then attended the University of Virginia Law School, where he edited the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology, clerked for the 16th Judicial Circuit of Virginia, and took an early practice certificate during his third year. In addition to his practice, he has also taught law classes. He is active with the Richmond Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association, and serves as a committee member on the Virginia State Bar’s Lawyer Referral Service. He is also licensed with the North Carolina State Bar. When he is not working, he enjoys reading, spending time with his wife and young son, catfishing along the James River, and hiking the Blue Ridge.
