About Colin

Colin Bell is an outgoing, funny, and helpful criminal law practitioner from western Canada. He graduated from the University of Alberta where he played rugby and was active in the Student’s Union. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law, where he was a student prosecutor for the Hampden County District Attorney and was selected as the graduating class speaker. After years of hard winters, he moved to Arizona and became the first Tombstone resident to be sworn into the practice of law in Arizona. He was a prosecutor on the U.S.-Mexico border, prosecuting hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases, including drug possession, DUI, and fraud, with the Cochise County Attorney’s Office. He moved to the Valley in 2013 to become a defense lawyer, zealously representing clients and fighting for their rights. He is active with the State Bar of Arizona, a member of the Criminal Justice Section, and volunteers his time with the United Way, providing legal advice to the Valley’s homeless. He also volunteers as a judge for the Arizona High School Mock Trial Competition. In his spare time, Colin enjoys reading history and humor books, hitting the gym, playing with his dog, and binging on Netflix and DVDs. He works out of the Peoria law firm office.
