About Daniel

Dan Dell'Osso is a native of Oakland, California, and a graduate of Bishop O'Dowd High School. He attended Virginia Military Institute, graduating with honors in 1975 and was a Rhodes Scholar nominee. He served six years as a fighter pilot in the United States Marine Corps, rising to Lt. Col. and commanding officer of a Marine A-4 squadron, retiring with 22 years of service. He received his law degree from Golden Gate University in 1984. He practiced with the Walkup law firm, focusing on aviation and product liability, especially automobile crashworthiness. He joined Coben and Associates in Arizona in 2000 and then The Brandi Law Firm in 2005. He is licensed in California, Nevada, and Arizona, and represents families in auto defect cases. He is a graduate of the Naval Post Graduate School's Aviation Accident Investigation and Safety school. He has been involved in numerous automobile crashworthiness cases against major manufacturers and has tried cases in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. He is an elected member of the Arizona chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a past chair of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) products liability section, and a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and AAJ (aviation and Product liability sections). He serves on the board of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. He is widely published on auto defects and aviation/automobile products. He lives in the East Bay and is a distance runner, having completed numerous marathons, including seven Boston Marathons.
