Thomas J. Brandi is a San Francisco native and a well-recognized trial attorney with numerous significant verdicts, including twenty trial verdicts ranging from one million to over one billion dollars and over 250 settlements in excess of one million dollars. He is licensed in California and federal courts, and has tried cases in 18 California counties and other states. He is a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, American College of Trial Lawyers, and American Board of Trial Advocates. He has held leadership roles in various litigation types, including Dalkon Shield, California Diet Drug, Alaska Airlines crash, and asbestos cases. He was lead counsel in a class action against Bank of America, and for California Zicam users and Hershey retail sales representatives. He was appointed to executive committees for California Fosamax and ACTOS litigation. Named one of the Top 25 Plaintiff Lawyers in California by SF/LA Daily Journal. He has received numerous awards, including California Trial Lawyer of the Year (2004), and has been consistently named a Top 100 Super Lawyer in Northern California, and Top 10 in several years. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Mass Tort Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation, and was named San Francisco Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs 'Lawyer of the Year' in 2013. He is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco Law School, teaching Trial Practice. He served as President of the Consumer Attorneys of California (2000) and San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (1998). He is also the Honorary Counsel of Slovenia and President of the American Slovenian Educational Foundation.
