Dan is a litigation attorney focusing on complex litigation involving construction, insurance, retail, transportation, hospitality, and professional malpractice. He has served as lead counsel in many arbitrations and jury trials, nearly all of which involved multi-million-dollar risks. His clients range from billion-dollar joint ventures to small businesses to individuals, and he litigates both sides, defense and plaintiff. In addition to his litigation work, Dan advises and represents businesses and insurance companies on contract negotiations, insurance, and risk mitigation. Dan is licensed in Minnesota, Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota, both state and federal courts. Dan’s many years of experience in diverse areas of law and jurisdictions equips him to provide unique strategic advice to his clients.
