About Daniel

Daniel Kruid is a senior trial attorney with the firm specializing in personal injury trial work. He has handled over 1000 injury cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, including auto, trucking, commercial and other vehicle accident cases, bicycle/motorcycle and pedestrian cases, premises liability slip/trip/fall cases, landlord/tenant matters, and other various tort cases. His experience ranges from minor injuries to catastrophic injuries including complex surgeries, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death. He is also experienced in handling elder abuse cases and has been involved in and has tried several employment matters. Prior to joining AlderLaw, Daniel spent nearly a decade as trial counsel for an insurance company on the defense side. Toward the end of that position, he was part of the high exposure trial team which handled the highest exposure cases on behalf of his insured clients. This included cases with catastrophic injuries such as traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death. As a former defense attorney, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspective to his injured clients, and has a unique ability to navigate his cases through trial given his extensive experience handling matters for both the plaintiff and the defense. Since joining AlderLaw in 2023, Daniel has led his team of litigators to successfully settle over $50,000,000.00 in settlements for his injured clients, which included an 8-figure settlement over $10,000,000.00, more than a dozen 7-figure settlements over $1,000,000.00, and more than two dozen 6-figure settlements over $100,000.00, all in just his first year and a half with the firm. Daniel has also successfully tried over 30 jury trials to verdict, including several cases that involved severe brain, spine, and other significant injuries and has also tried multiple wrongful death cases to verdict.
